Summer term 1

This half term our topic is called 'Big and Small.' We will be learning a little bit about insects and their habitats, baby chicks, giants and dinosaurs!! Our new roleplay area is a dinosaur park- Look our for those dinosaurs!!!

In week 1 our story focus is 'The bad tempered ladybird' So we will be learning all about ladybirds!

In week 2 and 3, our eggs arrive!! We will be learning all about chicks and how they grow! This is a very exciting time!

In week 4 our story focus is Jack and the beanstalk. Here we will focus on planting and growing our own beanstalks.

In week 5 our story focus is 'How to Grow a Dinosaur!'

In week 6 our story focus is 'The Smartest Giant in Town'

We will also be giving our flower beds a bit of TLC over the next few weeks and planting flowers, fruits, vegatables and herbs! If anyone is interested in donating anything to help us make our garden look amazing, we would be very grateful.
