Wow! We have reached the final week of this half term. We are extremely proud of how much effort your children have put into this first part of year 5. We know how much change comes to them from Year 4 so we are immensely happy and hope they have had a fun term so far.
TODAY:
Bring in an old t-shirt for painting with acrylics or the washing might be difficult!
Homework for Next Week:
Doodle Maths: Round numbers up to 1,000,000
Doodle English: Expressing place using an adverb
Spellings:
To spell words ending in 'ant' - abundant, brilliant, constant, distant, dominant, elegant, fragrant, ignorant, tolerant, vacant
Reminders for the Week:
Monday - PE
Tuesday - Great Big Live Assembly (Black History Month)
Thursday - Halloween Disco (tickets through the WPSA)
Book Bands:
We have used our latest assessments and some children may have moved book bands, this is reflected on Boom Reader. We will continue to monitor this and keep the children informed of any changes. The children will continue to take home books from the library based on their reading ages.
Have a great weekend! See you Monday
