Now that all the Nativity plays are complete and our first full term has come to an end, we just wanted to say how incredibly proud we are of all the children. They have settled into school life so well, adapted beautifully to new rules and routines, and shown us just how resilient, kind, and capable they are. What a fantastic start to their school journey! ✨ EYFS- Reading Army! ✨
In the New Year, we are looking to build a Reading Army to help support our EYFS children with their reading practise in school. Regular reading is incredibly important for young children. It helps to develop language, confidence, comprehension, and a love of books, all of which are key foundations for learning across the curriculum.
