Year 1 Spellings
Good afternoon, After Easter half term, as we enter Summer 1, the children will start to take part in weekly spelling tests. Please see the spellings for Summer 1 below. Please support your child in practising their weekly spellings at home each week. Your child will be given a spelling book on the first week back, the spelling book should only be used for their spelling tests in school each Friday and not for practising. What a phenomenal way to wrap up the half-term! . Here is a look at what your explorers have been up to! Tacos Our classroom turned into a Mexican restaurant this week! Making tacos was an absolute highlight—it was wonderful to see the children get creative with their toppings and show such bravery in trying new flavours.
