We have had another fantastic week in Year 1! In English, the children have been writing about where they would prefer to live – in the town or the countryside – and explaining their reasons. We were very impressed with their use of adjectives, verbs, conjunctions and punctuation. In Maths, we have continued learning about money. Afternoon all, Events: Monday we have Trunk Theatre coming in for a morning show to engage the children on our History subject of The Great Fire of London. Recyclable collection: Later in the half-term we will be building our own Tudor houses to take to Belchamps and burn as part of looking at how quickly the fire spread during the GFOL.
