EYFS- Messages
Now that all the Nativity plays are complete and our first full term has come to an end, we just wanted to say how incredibly proud we are of all the children. They have settled into school life so well, adapted beautifully to new rules and routines, and shown us just how resilient, kind, and capable they are. What a fantastic start to their school journey! We hope you all have an amazing Christmas break, filled with special moments and family time. We can’t wait to hear all

✨ EYFS- Reading Army! ✨
In the New Year, we are looking to build a Reading Army to help support our EYFS children with their reading practise in school. Regular reading is incredibly important for young children. It helps to develop language, confidence, comprehension, and a love of books, all of which are key foundations for learning across the curriculum. Spending even a short time reading with an adult can make a huge difference to a child’s progress. We would love to hear from parents, grandpare

PE and Independence Skills Over the Christmas period , please support your child to practise taking off and putting on their own shoes and socks . We've had a few emails regarding the timings for the post box walk this Thursday- We will be starting at 1pm with one class and then roughly 1:45pm for the other class- We will require helpers to walk with both classes if this is possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to take helpers with younger siblings due to safety reasons. Thank you for your support.

Good afternoon, Following our recent Parents’ Evening, which we always greatly enjoy and value as an opportunity to share your child’s progress, we wanted to provide some key strategies to support learning at home. These ideas reflect the approaches we use in school and can be easily incorporated into everyday routines. Supporting Fine-Motor Development Occupational Therapists emphasise that fine-motor skills develop from the inside out. Before children can control their fing

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to everyone who made playdough and kindly donated items for our hedgehog houses. Your support really helps us create wonderful learning experiences for the children. I also wanted to apologise for not updating the children’s reading records today. We’ve been completing phonics and maths assessments so we have up-to-date information ready for parents’ evening. We are so proud of how much the children have achieved in such a short time.
