Hockley Library Car Park is just a 10 minute walk to Westerings! We've secured more permits for parents to park-and-stride to and from school! Avoid the mad rush for spaces, the engine-idling and the stress of navigating the congested roads at peak times by parking for free at the Library and walking the rest of the way! This is particularly helpful for families coming from Rayliegh, Ashingdon, Rochford, or Hall Road (Stroud Green) areas, where walking is not reasonable, or,

This half-term, we’re turning pages into progress! To celebrate World Book Day , we are hosting a sponsored read  from Sunday 15th February to Sunday 22nd February . We’ve teamed up with Usborne Partner Joanne Randall to refresh our school library. Every penny raised goes toward new books, and Usborne will donate up to 60% extra in free books  on top of our total. Thursday 5th February. We apologise for the very short notice but streetdance and singing and drama clubs are cancelled today. If possible, please do not attend school until the usual time this morning and arrange to collect your child as usual at the end of the day. Year 5/6 pupils with parental permission to walk home at the end of the day, will be released as normal unless we are advised otherwise.

Morning everyone! On the first day back after half term, Westerings will be holding a Times Table Rockstar Day!  Children will be coming in dressed up as their favourite rockstars! Prizes to be won for best costumes!  We will be unveiling our new 144 Challenge! There will be class battles, whole school competitions and plenty of other fun across the day!
