Trip

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’re very much looking forward to our school trip tomorrow, and we want to reassure you that we’ve made a few sensible adjustments to keep everyone comfortable and safe in light of the warm weather.

Children should still come to school in their uniform, but ties can be left at home. Please ensure they wear comfortable trainers, bring a sun hat, and have sun cream applied before school. We will do our best to stay in shaded areas while walking or sitting outside, such as along the High Street and on the pier.

The majority of the trip will take place under cover, particularly within the station areas, where there will be plenty of shelter from the sun.

Please remember:

• Bring plenty of water

• Pack a nutritious lunch

• Wear a sun hat

• Apply sun cream before arriving at school
