All medicines currently stored at school must be collected on the last day of term - Tuesday 21st July.
Asthma inhalers should be collected from your child's classroom.
EpiPens must be collected from the school office.
No medication should remain on the school premises during the school holidays, with the exception of Calpol and Piriton, which may remain in school provided they are still in date for use in September.
If your child usually walks home independently, please notify the school office in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made for a parent or carer to collect the medication from the classroom or school office.
As you prepare for the new school year, please take the opportunity over the summer holidays to check the expiry dates of any prescribed medication your child will need in school. If medication is due to expire during the autumn term, please arrange for a replacement prescription over the summer so that an in-date supply can be provided at the start of September.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure that all medicines are safely returned home before the holiday and that children have the medication they need when they return to school.
