🔥 Next week is all about FIRE! 🔥
We’ve got an action-packed week ahead, full of fun learning opportunities and memorable experiences.
✨ Monday kicks off with our trip to Hawkwell Fire Station! The children will meet real-life firefighters, explore the station and learn all about the equipment they use, including the fire engine 🚒.
Later that day, we’ll be diving into fire safety. We’ll be discussing the uses and risks of fire before heading into The Burrow to practise keeping safe around a real fire by toasting marshmallows! 🍡🔥
👉 Any parents helping for the fire station are able to stay for the afternoon fire pit, we would love to have your support.
⚠️ Important Reminders:
Could you please send in any toilet roll or kitchen roll tubes you may have for use in our continuous provision, as we will be developing our scissor skills.
In line with our uniform policy, long hair must be tied back with a simple black, navy, white or blue hairband. This is especially important on Monday as children with loose hair will not be able to toast marshmallows.
Please ensure school books and reading records are in school every day so we can read with the children and change books regularly.
✨ To round off our exciting week, on Friday we welcome Little City! The children will get to explore a range of different job roles within our community.
📌 If you haven’t already, please make payment for this experience via ParentPay.
We can’t wait for a week full of learning, adventure and fun!
