EYFS UPDATES

We’re continuing our exciting space journey next week, learning all about the amazing astronauts who travel to space and the important jobs they do!

Our story focus next week is Goodnight Spaceman by Michelle Robinson.

A gentle and heartwarming bedtime story about an astronaut getting ready for a mission. As he prepares for blast-off and adventures far from Earth, he says goodnight to the things he loves, reminding us that even when we explore the stars, home is always close to our hearts. It’s a lovely story that helps us imagine what life in space might be like!

On Wednesday, we’ll be taking a delicious launch into space as we bake our very own “space cakes”! The children will be measuring ingredients by weight, carefully preparing everything, and of course enjoying the wonderful smells from the oven.

If you’re available to volunteer on Wednesday afternoon to support our budding space bakers, we would be very grateful for parent helpers.

Please email the office if you’re able to help.

Towards the end of the week, our focus shifts to someone very special — Mummy!

On Thursday and Friday, the WSPA will be hosting a special Mother's and Marvellous Others gift shop, where the children will have the opportunity to choose gifts for the special people in their lives.

Please send your child in with a gift bag, some money, and a list of the people you would like them to buy for.

If you have any spare Cardboard boxes, we would appreciate them for making space helmets please 🚀

Thank you, as always, for your continued support, we can’t wait for another fantastic week of learning and fun!
