Next week, we’ll be rounding off the term with one final space adventure!
Our story focus will be The Way Back Home by Oliver Jeffers. This lovely story follows a little boy who travels into space, meets an alien, and works together with him to find their way home. Through this, the children will be exploring themes of friendship, teamwork and problem-solving.
In English, we will be creating our own exciting space adventures using story starters to support our ideas and writing. In maths, we will be learning about halving, helping the children understand how to share a group into two equal parts.
We are looking forward to seeing more of you at our parent consultations on Wednesday evening. If you haven’t yet booked a slot, please do so via the Arbor app.
On Friday, we will be celebrating the end of the Spring term with our Spring Fling disco after school, kindly organised by our wonderful WPSA. Please see their posts for details on how to book tickets.
Finally, we would really appreciate any donations of paper cups to support a fun activity later in the week, where the children will be making their own “cup phones” to explore how sound travels.
It has been such a pleasure to watch the children grow and flourish over the course of this term. We are so proud of all they have achieved, and we can’t wait to see how much more they continue to develop and shine in the Summer term.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support 🌟
