EYFS Updates

We have an exciting and very busy week ahead!

Our book focus is One Winter’s Day by M. Christina Butler, a heart-warming story about generosity and the way kindness inspires others to be kind in return.

The book also supports our ongoing learning about the season of Winter.

Wednesday

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our Christmas Craft Morning. It will be a lovely opportunity to celebrate the season, and enjoy some festive fun together. Full details can be found on the App.

Thursday

We have our amazing Christmas Gift Shop run by the WPSA.

Children are invited to bring in money in a named wallet, a gift bag, and a list of the special people they would like to shop for. This is a wonderful chance for them to practise using money and to grow their independence and confidence.

Important reminder

Please ensure all Christmas costumes are in school by Thursday 4th December. As we will be taking a very special festive photo for the Echo.

Friday

We hope you enjoy a cosy day at home with your little ones. This day allows our staff to take part in essential academy wide professional development.

Finally, if you have any spare Christmas wrapping paper or sponges at home, we would be very grateful for donations to support our continuous provision next week.

Thank you, as always, for your support. We’re looking forward to a magical week!
