Dear Parents and Year 4 Superstars!
We have had another brilliant week in class! The children have truly wowed us with their impressive vocabulary as they developed their character description writing plans. We are so excited to see these plans evolve into detailed descriptions of Jupiter next week.
In maths, the children have consolidated their understanding of addition and subtraction while tackling two-step word problems. They’ve shown fantastic resilience and problem-solving skills!
Reminders for Next Week
Monday: Science Day at Greensward
We will be departing straight after registration, so please ensure your child is at the school gates for 8.40am.
Children will need:
A packed lunch
A drink
A jacket
Children should wear their school uniform.
We will return before the end of the normal school day.
Christmas Hoops Decorations
Next week, each class will be creating their decorations for the traditional Westerings Christmas Hoops. If your child is in Clover Class and has not yet brought in the resources requested by Miss Dee (a jam jar lid and some decorative items to turn the lid into a snow globe), please ensure these are sent in on Monday.
A Long Weekend Reminder
The children will enjoy a longer weekend, as tomorrow the teachers and LSAs will be participating in a day of CPD with other local schools.
