Sports for Champions visit Friday 31st January.

We are thrilled to announce that on 31st January, Joe Hart, the professional basketball player, will be visiting our school to share his inspiring story with the children.

All students will have the chance to work with Joe.

To make this day even more exciting, we are inviting all children to come to school dressed in sportswear (EYFS to dress in red) on the day of the visit.

As part of the visit, we are asking children to participate in a fundraising initiative to support our school and our visiting athlete. We have set up a Crowdfunder page, and we kindly ask that you help your child raise money through the platform. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/the-westerings-primary-academy-fundraiser

Here are the reward tiers based on the amount raised:

Everyone: All children will receive a sticker for participating.

Bronze (Official Victory Wristband): For raising between £15 and £29.99.

Silver (Signed A4 Poster + Official Victory Wristband): For raising between £30 and £49.99.

Gold (Photo with Joe Hart presented in a signed keepsake wallet + all of the above): For raising £50+.

We appreciate any support you can provide, as the funds will help support school

initiatives and events along with the athletes personal training
