Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a brand-new term! We hope you had a wonderful holiday; it has been a joy hearing about everyone's holiday adventures and seeing the fantastic creations our students have brought in to share. A big congratulations to all those who kept beating their high scores on Times Tables Rock Stars over the holidays; keep up the fantastic work!

This Friday, we will be testing words ending in "-ous.", and the word list can be practised on Spelling Shed or found in the students' books. Doodle tasks involve extending the work on symmetry from our maths lessons and engaging in some exciting non-fiction work that ties into our new unit on newspapers in English.

Miss Dee and Mr Rothwell's after-school current interventions will continue as usual every Thursday from 15:30 to 16:00. A new round of interventions will begin in the last week of January; more information will be provided closer to the time. This will involve a different group of pupils, so look out for a letter.

Finally, we are so excited about our much-anticipated trip to Harry Potter World next week! This promises to be a magical experience for the students and a well-earned treat for all their continued hard work.

Please keep your eyes peeled for a last-minute letter reminding you of precisely what needs to be worn, brought and ready for our trip to Potter World next week.
