Welcome To Year 6!

Hi everybody, we hope you are all well and have had a lovely, restful Summer break! Mr Wade and I are extremely excited to see all of you tomorrow for your first day of Year 6. Below is some useful information about the upcoming half term to ensure a smooth start to the academic year. PE - Thursday

Our PE day is on Thursday each week. Please ensure you're sending your child in with appropriate PE kit for the weather.

Things To Bring As a reminder, children will be bringing in their own pencil cases for this academic year. Please refer to Mr Stainsbury's previous post for what is considered appropriate stationery. Please also ensure your child is coming in with a water bottle and coat. Homework

Homework will be being set starting in Week 2 of this half term. Your child will receive all relevant logins by the end of this week, as well as weekly spellings and a spelling book.

Year 6 Orientation Meeting Mr Wade will be hosting a meeting on Friday 5th September (9-10am). The purpose of this meeting is to help equip parents to best support their children with the year ahead. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. This Week We understand that coming back after the summer can be a big transition. To help everyone settle back in after the break, this week we'll be taking part in Zola's Happy Hearts and Minds Week. This is a special week of insightful activities designed to support your child's health and well-being. We'll be doing things to ensure your child feels happy and relaxed as they transition back into the school routine. It's a great way to reconnect with friends, find out about what can help us to learn, and get ready for the exciting term ahead.

Have a lovely evening and we will see you bright and early tomorrow morning! Mr Bird & Mr Wade
