Year 1 Weekly Updates

Dear parents,


Buttercups Deanes visit - Wednesday 26th November

Just a reminder that Buttercups class have their Deanes visit next Wednesday. You will need to arrange your childs own transportation to Deanes and we will meet outside the sports centre at 9am. They will be transported back to school on the minibus. Please ensure your child is dressed in their full PE kit and are wearing trainers. Deanes are also requesting that any parent volunteers must also wear trainers please as they have had new flooring in the sports hall. Thank you.


Christmas performance

Your child has now received their part in our school show including the line they need to learn and the costume they should wear. We are kindly requesting that the children have their costume in school by Friday 5th December in a named carrier bag. Thank you for your support with this.


After school interventions

Please note that on Monday 24th November, Miss Stryczek's and Miss Bater's after school intervention will be cancelled due to parents' consultations. Furthermore, on Monday 1st December, Miss Stryczek's after school intervention will be RESCHEDULED to Tuesday 2nd December. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Thank you.


Church Visit

We will be visiting Emmanule church on Monday 8th December as part of our RE topic this half term. We are looking for some parent helpers who are able to arrive at school at 1pm on this day and come with us for the duration of the visit 1pm-3:00pm. If you are able to come along, please email the school office. Thank you in advance.
