Year 3 Friday update

Good morning!

What a busy week! We started off the week with a brilliant walk around Hockley looking at geographical and historical features for our enquiry. The chidren drew some amazing pictures of some of Hockley's historical buildings.

We have been learning all about magnetic materials in Science and using the watercolours in Art to mixing different tones and shades.

This week we have had many star readers- well done! Remember to record at least 4 reads in a week to be able to recieve your 4 dojos and a chance to win a book from the school vending machine.

This term we are focusing on our 4 times tables. You have TTRs and timestables.co.uk to use at home to help you to learn them by heart.

The children will have had a slip this week expaining which type of robot they are for our year 3 production. Please see our previous message about starting to prepare a costume for this.
