Year 3 Friday update

A brilliant start to the new half term for year 3! The sun has begun to shine, which means Spring is almost here! This week, we have been exploring the poem "The sea" by James Reeve; learning all about the water cycle in Geography and continuing lots of fractions work in Maths. The children loved our times table rock stars day- their costumes were fabulous! We hope it has spurred them on to keep practising with this app at home- it really does help!

Next week we will be dressing up again on Thursday 5th March for World book day. We can't wait to see all the different book characters you will be! This day we have lots of fun book-based activities planned. The Usbourne book fair will be held on Tuesday 3rd March after school in the hall.

This week's spellings are words ending in le:

humble

We hope you have a wonderful weekend.

The year 3 team :)
