Westerings the Musical - The Search for the Sound!

This week, we have been busy with final rehearsals for our musical next week! The children have been working so hard and they can't wait to perform!

  • Tuesday: Dress rehearsal for the whole school in the afternoon

  • Wednesday afternoon & Thursday morning ... performance days! (please refer to the letter sent out previously for details)

Please ensure all costumes are brought into school by Friday at the latest, as we will be conducting a full run-through.
English: Kindness Without Borders

We are incredibly proud of the stories the children have written, inspired by The Boy at the Back of the Class.

Each child created two central characters—a refugee and a peer in their class—and took them on a journey to show that even when barriers exist, kindness always shines through. The empathy shown in their writing has been truly moving.

Maths: The Final Push

The children have worked so hard on our final TTRS (Times Tables Rock Stars) mocks this week! We are in the final stretch of practice before the children show off what they are capable of during the official tests in June. Keep up that practice at home! Well done Year 4!

History: The Anglo-Saxons

This week, we’ve been travelling back in time to explore the Anglo-Saxons. We have been investigating:

  • Where they travelled from

  • The reasons behind their invasions and settlements

Well done for another fantastic week Year 4!
