Greetings grownups, and what an action-packed week we’re having!
Please note that Miss Dee and Mr Rothwell's after school clubs will not be running next week due to change of when our staff meeting is next week. It will return to normal the following week.
Yesterday’s trip to Writtle was a brilliant success. The children had a fantastic time exploring all things food and farming—from sheep shearing to industrial vehicle demonstrations, meeting a variety of animals, and even sampling some complimentary food and drink! A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a memorable one.
Tomorrow is our non-uniform beach-themed day to celebrate the grand opening of The Riviera! Don’t forget to bring your donations—we’re looking forward to a sunny, fun-filled day.
Then on Friday, it’s the event we’ve all been waiting for—Miss Jackson’s 24-hour dance-a-thon, Mr Stainsbury getting gunged, and last but not least - Mrs Gunton will finish her 100k challenge on the field! Check the posters around school or Class Dojo for more details.
In Doodle Learning this week:
English: We’re focusing on identifying determiners, which will support the accuracy of our writing.
Maths: We're exploring the effect of dividing 1- or 2-digit numbers by 10 and 100, and identifying the place value of the resulting digits—understanding ones, tenths, and hundredths.
Another brilliant week—let’s keep the momentum going!
