Year 4 - Weekly update

Wow! What a fantastic first full week in Year 4!

In Science we have been exploring Solids, Liquids and Gases, whilst in PE we have started our Gymnastics/Ball Skills lessons. We have been using fronted adverbials and expanded noun phrases in our writing based on Charlotte's Webb. In Maths, we have been using a variety of representations to represent 4 digit numbers!

Well done to all of our star readers! We were so impressed with how many of you read more than 4 times this week!

We had our first 144 challenge today too in which you were all so determined and resilient! You should all be really proud.

We were also amazed by the scores on your spelling tests, which shows you have been working really hard to learn these at home. This week your new spellings are words with the prefix '-in' meaning 'not;.
