Year 4 weekly update...

Hello everyone!

Westerings The Musical:

We can confirm that a letter will be coming out this week! It will include information about where and when the musical will be taking place, what song your child will be performing in and what costume they will need (please don’t buy anything new, the more home-made the better!). The letter will outline the sort of old clothes which may suit this best for each character. The songs and lyrics are on Google Classroom, and the scripts have been handed out to the children.

In Doodle Learning this week, we’re reinforcing our understanding of equivalent fractions and revisiting the grammatical difference between plural and possessive –s. These key skills will support both our maths and English learning, while this week’s spellings focus on adverbs of manner, which can be found on Spelling Shed or in students' spelling books.

Finally, this Friday is Red Nose Day! We can’t wait to see how the students “dress for joy” and bring even more colour and energy to the day. We’re also looking forward to learning a brand-new dance from our friends at Deanes—it’s sure to be a fantastic celebration!

Have a great week!
