Year 4 weekly update

26.3.25

Greetings, grownups!

This week in Doodle Learning, we’re refreshing our work on pronouns, revising the Year 3/4 statutory spelling words, and continuing our maths focus on converting tenths from fractions to decimals—building on everything we’ve been working on in class.

For spellings, we have some challenge words this week, which can be found on Spelling Shed or in students' spelling books.

We’re also upping the ante on Times Tables Rock Stars! We encourage parents to help students practise any times tables they might find tricky. If you’d like an extra copy of your child’s updated heatmap, just ask any of the teachers in Ivy or Clover, and we’ll be happy to provide one.

Finally, this Friday is our Mexico-themed day! We’re rounding off our D.T. unit with a celebration of all things Mexican. There’s no need for students to wear anything different, but we hope they’ll be able to share some of their new culinary skills with you over the weekend!
