Greetings grownups!
Miss Dee's Maths after school club:
Miss Dee's after school club tomorrow will be running, however, if you are unable to join us as it is the last day of term, that is absolutely fine and we can catch you up in the Summer 2 half term!
________________________________________________________________
Congratulations to all our pupils for their fantastic efforts this half term—it really has flown by! We’ve seen so much progress, and it’s been wonderful to see the children engaging with their learning with such enthusiasm.
In Doodle Learning, we have some great tasks to complete over the holidays. In English, pupils can look forward to tackling the “Space School” comprehension—an exciting and engaging read! In maths, there’s a very important refresher on partitioning 4-digit numbers into thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones, which will support our upcoming work next term.
This week’s spelling test will take place on Thursday, as Friday is an INSET day.
Looking ahead, the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) will take place soon after the holidays. To help build confidence and keep up the momentum, Mr Stainsbury has generously offered one nut-note for every day a student spends at least five minutes on TTRS during the break. It’s a brilliant way to stay sharp and support the children in reaching their full potential! The tracking sheet will go home with each child on Thursday.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable half term!
The year 4 team :)
