Dear parents,  We apologise for any disappointment in the mixed messages received by parents about immunisations taking place today. From our point of view, the message has clearly been that today would only be a 'mop up' session for those students (predominantly Y5 and Y6) who did not get immunised last week due to time constraints.  It seems some emails were shared with parents to give the impression today was another option to register and receive the jab. A reminder that the primary school (Reception) admission round opened on  Monday 10 November 2025 , for parents of children to apply for a Reception school place for the academic year that starts in September 2026.  Even if you already have a sibling at school, you will still need to apply if you have a child due to start Reception next September. To support Children In Need at school, our children will be taking part in the  virtual dance sessions  supporting children in need.  This has been organised by Castle Point and Rochford School Sport Partnership. Children can (alongside their normal school uniform) wear spotty socks, hairbands, or other CIN merchandise in support of this amazing charity on Friday.  Whilst we will not be collecting donations at Westerings, we hope that our parents will support the charity thro
