Now that all the Nativity plays are complete and our first full term has come to an end, we just wanted to say how incredibly proud we are of all the children. They have settled into school life so well, adapted beautifully to new rules and routines, and shown us just how resilient, kind, and capable they are. What a fantastic start to their school journey!
We hope you all have an amazing Christmas break, filled with special moments and family time. We can’t wait to hear all about your family Christmas traditions on Tapestry when we return in the New Year.
Spring Term
Looking ahead to January, our new topic will be “It’s a Wonderful World.” Each week we will focus on a different country, exploring life beyond England. We will be learning about China, Spain, Australia, Kenya, and India, discovering their foods, clothing, animals, climate, and cultures, and comparing them to how we live here in England.
We are always on the lookout for artefacts, photographs, objects, or souvenirs from these countries. If you have anything at home from your own travels that the children could share, we would absolutely love to use them to enrich our learning.
This is one of our favourite topics and always captures the children’s curiosity and excitement as they learn about the wonderful world we live in 🌍
Thank you for your continued support — we look forward to an exciting new term ahead!
