What a fantastic first half term! 🍂
We have had a brilliant start to the year, and it has been lovely to see how well the children have settled into school life. They are becoming increasingly confident, following our rules and routines so well, and growing in independence every day. We are so proud of them!
After half term, our new overarching module will be
“Look Out the Window, What Do You See?”
This will be all about the changing seasons and exploring the world around us.
Our first week back will have a Halloween and fireworks theme, with lots of exciting activities planned. We would be very grateful for any donations of resources you might have at home over the holidays. We are on the lookout for:
Any used Halloween decorations you no longer need
Halloween-themed objects we can use for counting and maths activities
Pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes
Cotton wool
If you have anything you think we could use, please send it in after half term!
Parent helpers – Thursday 5th November
On Thursday 5th November, we will be making chocolate-dipped breadstick fireworks, and we are looking for one or two parent helpers to join us from 1pm. If you are available and would like to help, please contact your child's class teacher via the Speak to Teacher app. If your child has an allergies, please speak to your class teacher before this date so we can arrange alternatives.
Fred Talk videos to support oral blending at home
We hope you all enjoy a well-earned half-term break. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting half term! 😊
