✨ EYFS- Reading Army! ✨

In the New Year, we are looking to build a Reading Army to help support our EYFS children with their reading practise in school.

Regular reading is incredibly important for young children. It helps to develop language, confidence, comprehension, and a love of books, all of which are key foundations for learning across the curriculum. Spending even a short time reading with an adult can make a huge difference to a child’s progress.

We would love to hear from parents, grandparents, or family members who might be able to give a little of their time to read with children in school. Any support would be hugely appreciated — whether that’s an hour here or there, a full morning or afternoon, once a week or even fortnightly. Every little helps and is valued.

If this is something that interests you, please email the school office and we will be happy to provide more information.

Thank you for your continued support — 📚💛
