EYFS UPDATES

This term our topic is Space and we are absolutely thrilled to be blasting off on an exciting adventure to learn all about planets, stars and astronauts! 🚀✨

Next week, we’ll be diving into our focus text; On the Moon by Anna Milbourne and Benji Davies, a beautiful story that will take us even closer to the stars! 🌙

We’re looking forward to welcoming you for our Parent Pop-In on Monday, where you’ll have the opportunity to come in and look through your child’s books and see all the wonderful work they’ve been doing.

On Thursday it’s World Book Day! 📚 Children are invited to bring their favourite book and come dressed as their favourite character. We have a fantastic day planned, where we will be looking at two fantastic Julia Donalson stories; A Hat for Hippo and Goat Goes to Playgroup.

Conkers will need to provide a unique (labelled) hat or two so the children can describe them to each other during an activity, these will be returned at the end of the day.

We will be finishing all the fun with a whole school parade and even a prize for the best dressed! we can’t wait to see all the amazing costumes! ✨

If you’re able to donate any of the following resources, we would be hugely grateful: Large paper plates, glow-in-the-dark stars, white toothpaste, cornflour, baby oil, any old space-themed toys, and black playdough.
