EYFS Updates

Next week is our last week before half term and we’ll be finishing with the lovely story: The Smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson. The children will love following George the giant as he helps different animals by sharing his clothes with them!

On Wednesday and Thursday, we’ll be making sock puppets of the story characters. If you have any odd socks at home that you no longer need, please send them in for our craft activities 😊

On Friday, we’ll be making our own boats and testing whether they float like the goat’s boat in the story! We would really appreciate any junk modelling materials for this activity, such as yogurt or butter pots, small bottles, lolly sticks, straws, pie tins, plastic bags and egg boxes.

We are so proud of how much the children have grown in confidence this term and all the amazing learning they have done about things Big and Small.

Thank you so much for all your support this half term! We hope you all have a lovely, restful break and we can’t wait to see the children’s half term adventures on Tapestry!
