🌞 EYFS Updates 🌞

What a scorcher of a week it has been! Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep your little ones safe and comfortable in the sunshine. Please continue to send your child in with a named water bottle and sun hat, and apply sun cream before school each morning.

📚 Story of the Week

Next week we will be reading The Giant Blue by Katie Cottle.

In this inspiring story, a mysterious giant from the sea asks for help to clear the beach and ocean of rubbish. As people work together to clean up their environment, they discover how small actions can make a big difference. The story encourages children to think about caring for our planet, protecting wildlife and working together to create positive change.

🔢 Maths

In maths, we will be strengthening our sharing skills. The children will be learning how to share objects fairly by making sure each group has an equal amount. We will also begin exploring halving and finding two equal parts.

♻️ Recycling Request

To support our exciting activities next week, we would love your help collecting a few recyclable materials. If you have any of the following items at home, please send them in:

• Plastic bottles and bottle lids

• Toilet roll tubes

• Egg boxes

• Odd socks
