Friday update :)

What a beautiful week of weather we have had and perfect for swimming lessons. As the weather is improving the children may need sun cream applied before they attend school. They are welcome to bring in the suncream if it needs re-applying before lunchtimes and they are able to do this themselves.

Well done to all the year 3 children this week. It has been brilliant to see your swimming progress and how much fun you have had. Your behaviour and attitude has been super!

This week we have also been continuing our work on writing instructions and learning how the Ancient Egyptians used to mummify. We practised on a tomato! We have been drawing bar charts this week in Maths and investigating which materials are the most reflective in Science.

The children have also completed a soundcheck test on TTRS this week and they have shown lots of progress! Many 25/25 already! Keep up the hard work and practise everyone!!

This week your homework assignment is on doodle English this week. Your spellings this week are: scheme, chorus, chemist, echo, character, stomach, monarch, school, anchor, chaos.
