Friday update!

Good morning,

A dreary week of weather but the children have continued to work hard in class! We have been practising ready for our year 3 production. A letter this week went out about dates and times to come and watch. A reminder that children's costumes should be in school by Monday please.. Please place in a named bag.

A big well done to the children with their times tables tests this week. The majority of them improved their scores. Keep up the practise at home, 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8's to begin withl. They need to know them off by heart. TTRs is really good at helping with speed.

This week's spellings are challenge words:

build

describe

promise

recent

ordinary

imagine

weight

natural

suppose

library

Keep up the reading and logging your reads onto boom reader. It has been great to see so many star readers recently.

A polite reminder about earrings in PE. The children need to be able to remove them themselves before their lesson in the morning. If they are unable to do this, please can they be taken out before they come into school. Thank you.

We have had to remind many children this week that playtime snacks should be fruit or vegetables only as we are a healthy school. Many thanks.

Have a good weekend.

The year 3 team :)
