Happy half term!

A very busy half term for year 3! We have worked really hard and had so much fun with swimming, mummifying tomatoes, designing Egyptian headdresses, learning about light and shadows and much more!

We are looking forward to many more exciting projects for our final half term in year 3. We will be making Egyprian Death masks in DT. If you have any spare cardboard boxes we can use to cut up please bring them in to school after half term, it will be much appreciated.

We are also looking forward to our trip to Southend to celebrate 200 years of the railway. If you are able to volunteer your help on this and currently hold a DBS please fill in the form that cammhome last week or email us via the office.

No homework on doodle has been set this week or spellings, however please keep up with your reading and daily questions on these platforms, including TTRS. The children will be having some English, Maths and Science assessments the first week back, including another timestables sound check.

We hope you have a wonderful half term and will see you all back on the 9th June,

The year 3 team :)
