SATs Week Next Week - Information

Dear parents and carers,

Your children have shone so far this year, and next week marks the chance for them to showcase everything they have learnt through not only Year 6, but their entire time at Westerings. Please find below some pertinent information about next week:

• Children should arrive at school at the usual time of 8:40am.

• Children should have breakfast as normal, however we will be providing them with an additional small 'treat' breakfast each day in school too to celebrate (e.g. croissants, fruit, waffles etc.)

• Children should bring a refillable and closable water bottle.

• PE will still be occurring Tuesday afternoon, so as usual children should come to school in PE kit if taking part.

• As mentioned in our previous post, there is no usual SATs companion homework or weekly spellings due for this coming week.
  

The day timetable of tests is as follows:

• Monday: Grammar paper (45 mins) and Spelling paper (20 mins)

• Tuesday: Reading paper (60 mins)

• Wednesday: Maths Arithmetic paper (30 mins) and Maths Reasoning paper 2 (40 mins)

• Thursday: Maths Reasoning Paper 3 (40 mins)

• Friday: no tests
