Weekly Reminders 18.11.24

Good morning Year 5, what an exciting week! In English this week, we introduced our new text The Highwayman with the children being detectives and finding clues scattered around the school. In Maths, we have been converting different units of length, mass and capacity. It was lovely to meet some of you and share your child's progress in last night's parent-teacher consultations. We hope you found this valuable. We are looking forward to meeting the rest of you next Wednesday!


Spellings for 21.11.24 are words ending in able or ible:

reasonable, dependable, reliable, terrible, enjoyable, incredible, comfortable, possible, understandable, horrible.

(Spelling test will be on Thursday due to INSET day)


Homework for next week:

Doodle English - Expanded noun phrases

Doodle Maths - Converting between different units of metric measure (cm and m)
