Weekly round up

Good afternoon,

A great first week back! The children are really engaging in our new topic: Walk like an Egyptian.

Today the children have recieved their next set of spellings to learn for next Friday.

Sadly, we are seeing less and less children achieving star reader. Please make sure that the children read little and often; aiming for 4 times a week. Boom reader is easy to access on any laptop, i pad or smartphone. The children love receiving their dojos each week and a chance to win a book from the library vending machine!

Swimming:

A letter went out Monday regarding swimming on the week beginning 20th May. A hard copy of the letter will come home with the children today.

Please could you fill in your children's confidence levels/abilities, so that we are aware and can organise our lessons to suit the needs of the children. This part of the letter needs to be returned to the class teacher as soon as possible.

Many thanks.

Have a great weekend!

The year 3 team :)
