World Mental Health Day at Lift Westerings
Dear Parents and Carers,
Last week across the school, we marked World Mental Health Day with engaging discussions and classroom activities focused on emotional well-being.
Our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 assemblies were led by teachers around this year’s theme: "Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change." The children participated in meaningful tasks, taking time to express themselves, reflect on their feelings, and listen to one another.
At Lift Westerings, we are intent on making well-being an everyday priority for our pupils. While awareness days are a fantastic catalyst to talk and reflect, we know how vital it is to keep the conversation about mental health going all year round. Through our everyday curriculum, we continue to provide regular opportunities for pupils to share how they feel, build resilience, and feel heard.
