DOODLE LEARNING
Homework for this half term has been set on doodle maths. Each week your child will receive a new assignment on their account to complete which relates to their learning in school. We also encourage your child completes their 5 a day. Dojos will be rewarded to children in the green zone and for completing their assignments.
READING
Children should read their phonics book at home 5 days a week. This will be checked by the class teacher, so please ensure you are logging every read on Boom Reader. Dojos will be rewarded for those who have read 4/5 times. They will also be put into a raffle and have the chance of winning a golden token for our book filled vending machine! Your child will also receive a log in for Oxford Owl, please use this to access an online library of ebooks for additional reading.
SPELLINGS
Please see the previous post regarding spellings this half term. Your child can log on to SpellingShed and play interactive games to learn their weekly spellings.
TTRS
Your child will recieve login details for times tables rockstars. They have been set 2s, 5s and 10s only. This is completely optional.
As previously mentioned, we are currently sorting your child's log in details for the above platforms so please bear with us and these will be with you in due course.
