🌟 Year 2 Update 🌟

Dear Parents and Carers,

A couple of reminders and updates for you this week:

👟 PE Day Reminder – On Thursday 2nd October, children will need to come to school in their PE kits as we have an exciting extra PE session with the Flying Start company.

➕ Maths Club – Miss Dee’s Monday Maths Club will not be running on Monday 29th September due to One Plan meetings, but don’t worry – it will be back to normal the following week!

In class, we’ve been busy:✨ In Maths, we’ve been learning all about finding one more and one less of numbers.📖 In English, the children have been creating their own wonderful stories inspired by On the Way Home.⚔️ We finally managed to have our much-anticipated battle now the weather has improved – the children were imaginative, enthusiastic, and beautifully behaved. They learned so much from the experience!🎨 We’ve also made our very own clay pots and can’t wait to paint them later this half-term.

Hedingham Castle Trip

A gentle reminder that trip payments for our visit to Hedingham Castle are due. Please also ensure children bring a packed lunch and come prepared with layers next Wednesday, as the weather can be unpredictable and we want everyone to stay comfortable throughout the day.
