Year 3 Friday update!

Another fantastic week of learning! The children are really settling down to key stage 2 working. We have been impressed with their enthusiasm and hard work!

This week we have learnt about fossils in Science, we have been drawing textures in Art, counting in multiples of 4, 8, 50 and 100 in Maths and finding out about stone age weapons in History.

Remember to keep up the reading at home. Apologies for not changing books this week- our library books are in the process of temporarily being moved, so as soon as they have, the children will be able to do this regularly again. They are welcome to choose a book from the classroom until then.

This week's spellings are words ending "sure"

disclosure

closure

measure

composure

pleasure

treasure

pressure

exposure

enclosure

leisure

Remember to keep practising those timestables. Both TTrs and timestables.co.uk are both great platforms to support you with this. The children need to be really competent with their 2's 5's and 10's to start. Please let your teacher know if you have misplaced your log ins.

Have a great weekend.

The year 3 team :)
