Year 3 Friday update

What a chilly week! The children have been working well on many activities this week. We are all getting to grips with column addition and subtraction in Maths and starting a new narrative unit in English all about the Fairy Godmother and her missions! In Science we loved learning all the scientific names of the bones of the human skeleton. In Spanish we have been practising the days of the week.

Next Wednesday we will be making our cushions. If any parents are avaliable to come and help the children to sew from 9am we would be most grateful. Please contact the office to let us know, thank you.

Next week's spellings are:

beginning

propelled

regretting

committed

preferred

equipped

forgetting

permitted

forgotten

forbidden

Keep up with the reading at home- remember to fill out your reads on Boom reader when you can.

Have a wonderful weekend.

The year 3 team :)
