Year 3 Friday update

It's getting so close to the end of term. The children are continually working hard. This week we have published our Fairy Godmother stories in English and we are all so proud of them! We have learnt about muscles in Science and in RE we have produced a great artistic response to our knowledge of the Holy Trinity; designing a stained glass window.

Well done to all the children for completing their 144 challenge this week. We have seen a great improvement in the number of timestables they know- brilliant! Keep this up!

Spellings for this week to learn are the ay sound spelt ei or eigh

weigh

eight

reign

eighteen

freight

neighbour

vein

reins

veil

sleigh

The children will be tested on these on Thursday next week.

Don't forget next Wednesday is Christmas jumper day and Christmas school dinner, On Thursday the children will have a christmas party and are welcome to bring in any board games they want to play with. If they wish to bring a small amount of party food to share with their friends they are welcome to.

Have a wonderful weekend.

The year 3 team :)
