Year 4 Weekly Update

What an amazing week!

The children have successfully completed their half-termly arithmetic quizzes To help keep those skills sharp, we will be sending home some multiplication and division printouts soon to support their learning!

We have finished our drafts of our Explorer stories! The children did a wonderful job describing characters discovering ancient ruins deep in the jungle.

We took part in some great Safer Internet Day activities - exploring the theme of 'Smart tech-safe choices'

We have also started to learn some songs for our exciting Year 4 musical!

Friday Reminder: Valentine’s Gift Shop

The Valentine’s gift shop is happening this Friday. If your child would like to participate, please ensure they bring:

  1. Their money.

  2. A named gift bag to carry their items home.

    Looking Ahead: First Week Back

Monday (First Day Back): TTRS Day! All children are invited to dress up to celebrate Times Tables Rock Stars. Please refer to the parent letter for costume inspiration.

Thursday: PE. Our PE sessions will remain on Thursday mornings, so please ensure kits are ready.

📚 Save the Date: World Book Day

World Book Day is on Thursday, 5th March. We invite all children to come to school dressed as their favourite book character!

We have attached our spellings for the first week back. These will not be tested until Friday 26th February so the children can have a well deserved break over half term!
