🌟 What a Week! 🌟
We have had an incredibly busy, productive, and fun-filled week in class. Here is a look at what the children have been up to:
Wild West Tuesday:Â We kicked off the week with so much fun, diving into Wild West-themed scavenger hunts and games. The energy was fantastic!
Science:Â We have been exploring the fascinating (and sometimes gross!) inner workings of the digestive system.
English:Â The children are putting the finishing touches on their explanation texts about Roman inventions. They have worked incredibly hard to level up their writing using formal conjunctions, expanded noun phrases, and technical vocabulary.
Maths: We’ve been putting our detective hats on to explore line graphs and diagrams, learning how to accurately read and analyse data.
Design & Technology (DT):Â Bright ideas are forming! We have been looking closely at the design criteria to start planning our very own night lights.
Looking Ahead to Next Week...
Next week is a big one! Please keep these exciting dates in mind:
Food and Farming Trip:Â We will be heading out for our exciting school trip. (Make sure those lunches and coats are ready!)
Thursday (Transition Day): A very exciting milestone—the children will get to spend time meeting their new teachers for next year!
Friday: INSET Day. School will be closed to the children, so enjoy the long weekend!
Spellings for next week will be 'Challenge Words'
Wednesday, possess, accident, busy, guide, occasion, actually, forward, forwards, eighth
Thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful weekend!
