Fantastic Farming, Impeccable Manners, and Looking Ahead!

What a brilliant—and busy—week we have had! The children have absolutely blown us away with their attitude, hard work, and resilience!

🌾 Great Food and Farming Trip

Our big highlight this week was our trip to the Great Food and Farming event. The children had a wonderful time learning all about where their food comes from.

Most importantly, we were bursting with pride to hear members of the public and event staff praising our children for their impeccable manners. They represented our school beautifully!

☀️ Beating the Heat in the Classroom

Despite the soaring temperatures, the children have been amazing in the heat, keeping up their focus and enthusiasm.

  • Maths: We have been working hard consolidating our arithmetic skills, sharpening our mental maths, and putting our learning into practice.

  • English: The children have been busy planning some brilliant explanation texts, focusing on how to structure their writing clearly.

  • Computing: We have turned into mini web developers this week! The children have been busy designing and creating their very own websites.

🗓️ Looking Ahead: Transition Week

Next week, we will be hosting another transition session where the children will get to spend some time with their new teachers. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to get to know their next classrooms and feel confident and excited about the upcoming school year.

Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you all have a wonderful, restful weekend!
