Year 5 Weekly Blog - w.b. 30th June

Mrs Woods is back! We are so grateful to Mrs Gaya for stepping in and teaching Willows this week, the children had a fantastic experience with one of our favourite teachers! On Monday and Tuesday we designed and created our DT projects - Tudor toys! The children showed resilience when facing challenges with the cams and making the linear movement. Yesterday, a group of children represented the school at Greensward for a PE challenge day. We are so proud of the children and their fantastic achievements scoring the most points across the four local schools!

Reminders for next week:

Mon - PE, RSE lesson (discussing emotions and feelings)

Weds - Day at Greensward (all children in PE kits)

Thurs - Minecraft day (normal uniform)

Fri - Year 5 residential (Belchamps during the day and sleepover in the evening, non-uniform old clothes, no phones all day and evening please)

Letters if you missed them:

Only 21 children across the year group have paid for our residential next week, please ensure all payments are made ASAP on ParentPay. The money is paying for Belchamps not for the evening.

No spellings or homework for next week due to Belchamps!
