Year 5 - Weekly post 26.6.25

Good afternoon Year 5!


An exciting week for Year 5 this week. This week the children have:

  • learnt the importance of personal hygiene

  • revisited their CPR training

  • met their EYFS buddies again

  • had a Geography trip to Hockley Woods

  • STEM workshop

  • took part in multiple science experiments for Science Week


Yesterday the children took home their residential letter for our Minecraft Sleepover Adventure, please ensure this form is returned as soon as possible and payments are made via ParentPay.


Tomorrow Miss Jackson takes on the challenge of a 24-hour dance-a-thon all in aid of Little Havens. As well as visiting classes throughout the day, families are also invited to come along in the evening from 5:30 - 7:00pm to dance with her. We hope to see you there!


Reminders for next week:

Mrs Woods is on the Year 6 residential so Willows class will be taught by Mrs Gaya. Mon - PE

Tues - DT day

Weds - PE challenge day (invite only)

Thurs - EYFS buddies (final meet), before school arithmetic intervention (invite only)

No homework this week, the children have worked hard enough!
